Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Beauty Manager to lead the beauty department of our well-established salon in London, UK. This hands-on role involves overseeing daily operations, managing a team of beauty professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, a solid background in beauty treatments, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day management of the beauty department, ensuring smooth operations.
Perform a range of beauty treatments, including nails, waxing, facials, massage, and eye treatments (lash extensions, tinting, perming, etc.).
Lead and mentor a team of beauty therapists, conducting training and performance management.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client queries and concerns professionally.
Monitor and maintain stock levels, generating reports and liaising with upper management.
Drive sales by promoting salon services, courses, and retail products.
Implement and uphold salon hygiene and safety standards.
Manage staff schedules and ensure seamless client bookings and check-ins.
Assist in recruiting skilled therapists to enhance the team.
Identify new treatments and services to expand the salon’s portfolio.
Handle facility-related maintenance issues in coordination with the facilities manager.
Assist in planning and implementing salon promotions.

Requirements:

Essential:

Minimum NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent qualification).
Strong skills in nails, skincare, waxing, facials, massage, and other beauty treatments.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in beauty treatments.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role within a salon.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Punctual, reliable, and available to work weekends.
High standards of personal grooming and professional presentation.
