Clinical Psychologist with UK Visa Sponsorship

Job Description

Are you a dedicated Clinical Psychologist with a passion for supporting individuals on their recovery journey?

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join their team in the UK.

This role offers UK Visa Sponsorship for the right candidate.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide specialised rehabilitation and mental health services, utilizing evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions across the service.

You will work with individuals with learning disabilities, developing treatment plans and behavioural management strategies to enhance recovery outcomes.

In this role, you will also provide team support and supervision, design and implement behavioural management plans, and act as a consultant to other team members.

Your professional competence as defined by the HCPC and BPS, along with your strong ability to communicate complex and sensitive information, will be crucial in delivering high-quality care.

You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to understand the needs of individuals and develop tailored treatment plans.

These plans will incorporate various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to address a wide range of mental health issues. Your role will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Additionally, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of behavioural management strategies.

These strategies will be designed to support individuals in managing their behaviours effectively, promoting positive outcomes and enhancing their overall quality of life. You will also provide training and supervision to in-training staff members, ensuring they develop the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.

As a consultant to other team members, you will offer expert advice and guidance on complex cases, helping to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care. Your ability to communicate complex and sensitive information effectively will be essential in this role, as you will need to liaise with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Your professional competence, as defined by the HCPC and BPS, will be a cornerstone of your practice. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in clinical psychology and incorporate evidence-based practices into your work. This commitment to professional development will help you to provide the highest standard of care to your patients.
