Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will oversee bridge engineering projects through their entire lifecycle, ensuring they meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives while exceeding client expectations. This role involves technical leadership, client engagement, and team coordination to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Development & Management:

    • Define project scope and prepare fee estimates.
    • Develop technical proposals, participate in contract negotiations, and oversee project execution using Organisation's delivery methodologies.
    • Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget while achieving client satisfaction.
  • Technical Leadership:

    • Perform engineering tasks such as analysis, design, and report generation.
    • Review and manage technical specifications, plans, and calculations for compliance with project requirements.
    • Address and resolve design-related issues in collaboration with cross-discipline and functional teams.
  • Team Coordination & Mentorship:

    • Supervise, mentor, and develop project team members to meet overall objectives.
    • Coordinate staffing needs and assist with recruitment, performance reviews, and staff development plans.
  • Client Engagement & Business Development:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships.
    • Support business development by contributing to proposal preparation, presentations, and client scoping.
    • Partner with leadership to pursue strategic projects and develop marketing materials for industry visibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of task management or deputy project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • 7 years of bridge design experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • Experience as a task leader or similar role.

Primary Focus Areas:

  • Lead and manage bridge design projects for diverse clients.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with Organisation’s performance standards.
