Our client is revolutionizing the financial landscape with our innovative DeFi platform. They are looking for an experienced IT back end software engineer with at least 8 years of experience to lead a dynamic team responsible for designing and implementing robust backend systems using WebSocket-based architectures.

As part of core engineering team, you will report directly to esteemed CTO and work closely with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a Dynamic Team: Manage and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

• Design and Implement Robust Back End Systems: Develop scalable, secure, and efficient back end systems for our DEX platform, supporting both web and mobile clients.

• WebSocket-Based Architectures: Utilize WebSocket-based architectures to ensure real-time communication and high performance in production environments.

• Blockchain Technologies: Work with blockchain technologies, including blockchain data indexers and blockchain-specific modules, to enhance our platform’s capabilities.

• Web 2 Architecture: Leverage your expertise in Web 2 architecture to integrate traditional web technologies with our cutting-edge blockchain solutions.

• Languages: Proficiency in languages like Rust/Go is highly desirable for developing high-performance, production-ready code.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including front end developers, product managers, and the CTO, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.

• Reporting: Report directly to the CTO, providing regular updates on project progress and technical challenges.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on back end development.

• Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.

• Technical Skills: Expertise in WebSocket-based architectures, Web 2 architecture, and blockchain technologies.

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Rust/Go is highly desirable.

• DeFi Knowledge: Experience with DeFi platforms and fully decentralised exchanges (DEX) is a plus.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable and efficient systems.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
