Senior Finance Analyst

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join dynamic team in London. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with a passion for business partnering and a desire to make a meaningful impact on our organization's financial strategy and operations. 

As a Senior Finance Analyst you will be reporting to respective Finance Business Partner in your day to day life.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Business Partner and providing critical financial insights to drive decision-making across the organization.

Your expertise will be leveraged in various areas, including operations, legal, corporate governance, risk, and compliance.

Few of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Business partnering: Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to understand their financial needs and provide valuable insights.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, developing financial models, and analyzing variances to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Management accounting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, analyzing financial performance, and providing insightful commentary.
  • Third-party contract management: Reviewing and analyzing third-party contracts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and identifying areas for cost optimization.

Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience (3-5 years PQE).
  • Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, including the development of dashboards and visualization tools for financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Attention to detail and a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for finance and a desire to continuously improve processes and drive change.

Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset are essential, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
