Job Description

The Supply Chain Operations Specialist will be responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring warehouse efficiency. This role requires a proactive individual with leadership capabilities, process improvement skills, and hands-on experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Supervise and manage warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, to meet performance targets.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality standards.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

  • Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining operational excellence.

Process Improvement & Lean Management:

  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations and improve warehouse workflow.

  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing data-driven solutions to enhance productivity.

  • Ensure best practices are shared and standardized across multiple warehouse locations.

Team & Workforce Management:

  • Lead and mentor warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.

  • Oversee hiring, training, performance evaluations, and career development for team members.

  • Manage peak season staffing needs, including contingent workforce planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and Safety teams to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

  • Serve as the key liaison between warehouse operations and senior leadership.

  • Collaborate with external vendors and transportation providers to optimize supply chain solutions.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in operations management within manufacturing, production, or distribution.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.

    • Proficiency in Lean management and process improvement techniques.

    • Ability to make strategic decisions in fast-paced environments.

    • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.

    • Experience managing recruitment, performance, and workforce development.

  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required.

  • Work Environment: Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

  • Relocation: Open to relocation based on business needs.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (based on experience and performance)

  • Internship Period: $5,000 per month (2-3 months training period before full-time conversion)
