Job Description

We are seeking a talented Dutch-speaking Business Development Manager to join an internationally renowned sports marketing and media organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding the company's sales and marketing partnership programs with businesses in the Netherlands, leveraging the company's strong affiliations with some of Europe's top football clubs.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
  • Additional language skills (e.g., French, Flemish, or German) are a plus but not mandatory.

The role of the Business Development Manager will encompass the following:

  • Sales Development: Build new business relationships by promoting partnerships with affiliated sports clubs.
  • End-to-End Sales Management: Handle the full sales cycle\u2014from lead generation and appointment setting to closing deals.
  • C-Level Engagement: Work directly with senior-level decision-makers (C-suite and directors).
  • Virtual Selling: Schedule and conduct virtual meetings (via Teams or Zoom) to expedite sales within short turnaround times (typically 3-4 days).
  • Product Portfolio: Market and sell a comprehensive range of media products to new clients.
  • Industry Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of the sports industry, with a focus on community-based partnerships.

Candidate Profile

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dutch and English is required. Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., French, Flemish, German) is an advantage.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven B2B sales experience, ideally working with businesses in the Netherlands and engaging with high-level decision-makers.
  • Full-Cycle Sales Experience: Strong track record in managing the complete sales process, from lead development to deal closure.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sports Knowledge: Familiarity with and passion for European sports, especially football, is a plus.
  • Team-Oriented: Collaborative and eager to grow within a dynamic team environment.
