Job Description:

As a Senior AI Research Scientist, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing advanced AI models for autonomous driving and robotics. You will work with a cross-disciplinary team to leverage real-world driving data and create innovative solutions.

Your expertise in model-free and model-based reinforcement learning, model predictive control, and tree search will be crucial in advancing our AI capabilities.

You will also be responsible for developing behavioral and physical models of cars, people, and other dynamic agents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead AI research projects focused on autonomous driving and robotics.

• Develop and implement foundation models for robotics.

• Utilize model-free and model-based reinforcement learning techniques.

• Apply model predictive control and tree search algorithms.

• Architect AI models and implement behavioral cloning.

• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to integrate AI solutions.

• Work with real-world driving data to enhance model accuracy.

• Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or a related field.

• 5+ years of applied experience in AI research.

• Expertise in deep learning frameworks based on Python and PyTorch.

• Strong background in model-free and model-based reinforcement learning.

• Experience with large language models (LLM) and foundation models for robotics.

• Proficiency in model predictive control and tree search algorithms.

• Familiarity with code-reviewing, C++, Linux, and Git.

• Proven track record of publishing in top-tier conferences and journals.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in behavioral and physical modeling of dynamic agents.

• Knowledge of real-world driving data and its applications.

• Industrial and/or academic experience in deep learning.

• Familiarity with behavioral cloning techniques.
